Overview: Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) St. Lukes House provides psychiatric rehabilitation and support services to clients who live in St. Lukes House residential facilities or elsewhere in the community, The PRP is an umbrella over other SLH programs which include Residential, Supported Living, Employment Focused clusters, Back to Work, and Life Skills. All psychiatric rehabilitation services we provide are individualized and flexible based on the changing needs of each individual.
Currently, we have the capacity to serve 380 people in our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP). Of these individuals, 103 live in St. Lukes House residential rehabilitation facilities, i.e. group homes, townhouses or apartments. The other 277 people live elsewhere in the community.
St. Lukes House has developed an integrated, individualized, and geographically based model for providing psychiatric rehabilitation services. Under this model, staff members from all PRP programs, as well as Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, join together with the common goal of high quality service provision. Since it is expected that consumers rehabilitation and recovery processes are fluid and changing over time, consumers may access any one of the designated PRP programs as their needs and goals dictate. While the programs are listed separately below, they in fact operate as an integrated, comprehensive, and Evidence Based practice array of psychiatric rehabilitation services.
The Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, licensed in 1997, allows the further enhanced integration of mental health treatment into the service model, so that teams can better address all of the clients community mental health treatment and rehabilitation needs.
